I want to make a trip with my buddies this Friday and I was thinking to kayak down the humber river so that we end our trip in lake Ontario. My question is: is the Humber river a good place to kayak? And how far north of the river will I have to start to finish a 4 hour trip in lake Ontario?

The best put in for the Humber River is under the Bloor Street Subway line. If you go north of Bloor it gets too shallow in the summer. It about a two hour paddle south to lake Ontario from there. Here is a map to the put in. goo.gl/maps/Cl7u
